Interested in becoming an Intern with A New Direction for Counseling?

New Direction for Counseling believes that every therapist needs a strong beginning in an environment conducive to learning a variety of therapy styles. Our goal is to assist counselors-in-training in becoming self-confident therapists who strive to put the needs of the client first.

We attempt to teach students to cooperate with clients by learning who the client is and then matching therapeutic goals to meet their individual needs. We advocate for students to utilize a variety of resources in a cooperative relationship with their supervisor and colleagues.
